Huge congratulations to young people completing their Bronze DofE Expedition

Massive congratulations to the seven young people completing their Duke of Edinburgh's Award Bronze Expedition by bike!

The young people trained to be genuinely independent- a big deal for them all. This involved them planning a bike route over 2 days, choosing & cooking camp food, setting up camp and working together to coordinate the 2 days of biking in the Peak District. Most impressively, they willingly left mobile phones at home and relied on map & compass to navigate their way over the 2 long days. Great team work and personal achievement by all the group.
